JustCarp'N
You will fine that carp are some of the most hardest fighting fish that you will ever come to go after. They will not give up I tell you that they just will not give it. That is what makes them the one for me to catch and go after. They are not the best to eat but the fight is what make them worth the catch to me. You will find out in time that they are hard and smart to catch. I have read in books were that carp are just as smart are even more so then bass.
Size is it another thing that get me after them with fish in the 20's even the 40, 50 and some in the 60lbs. Truly making them worth going after you know are at less for this man. I'm no writer and I spell the worst then anyone that I know so you will just have to put up with that and send me the right spelling and tell me were that it is at and I will fix it them.
I have fish for them over 43 years and still love to catch them to this day I tell you that I do. The baits that you find on here is the baits that I have come up with over the years and some that some friends gave to me over the years. These Baits were give to me to do what ever I wanted to do with and that is all that i have to say on that. You will find some baits that I have use and got a lot of carp with over the years and I will have some that just pop in the mind you know for us to use later. I have fish what they called the Pay-Lakes which I help get them their name. I fish them hard for over 33 years but then had to stop. and I miss it a lot I have been a few times with the boy and I enjoy that a lot.
Take boilies and you will fine a couple on here to make and more to come. You have to use a hair rig with them but that is ok. Use them at the rivers and you should be just fine with them. The other baits on here works fine at the river as long as it is use in calm water. Rick and I use to use them all the time at the river. That was for over 33 years that we fish together before he passed. Good Luck Carp'N and hope that you get that big one of a lifetime.

Pay-Lakers
They were willing to give it all up just to have that one chance at that big boy of the lake. These fishermen were not there by luck they were there by watching the lake and the other fishermen and were the big fish came from. It took getting all this to gather and making a plain to get that biggest carp in the whole darn Lake that everyone of the other carpers wanted. It was the big carp that was braking all the lines when hook. The one that seem to find a way to get off no matter what it took are how close to the bank that a fishermen had got him. The boy that was strong enough to break them there rods into are tear a reel up. This was the fish that these fishermen fish for and wanted. Fishermen like Rick Cheek , Joe Powell , Nub , Wesley , Bill Carpenter , George Smith , Adam , Alan, Herman Carriker. HL. (Who is fishing the big lake now but never forgotten) Butch Tomlin , and Wallace Hilton . These fishermen were just some of the real pioneers of Pay-Lakein in the sport that we all do and love today. These are the ones that I did this site for. Well I have put the rest of the story up now and you can read it all in the lost art. So have a read at it and see what you think about it and let me know.
NEW Try the Q and A out I hope that it will take off and we all might just fine something out from it that maybe we did not know are just forgot. It is easy to do you know.
Here is my E-Mail justcarpn@yahoo.com . For Q that you might have are if you just want to talk about carp fishing.
